Websites for roofing contractors: estimates that arrive with photos and scope

A customer with a leak or an old roof searches on their phone and calls the first contractor who earns their trust. Your site has to show your real work, make clear which roof types you handle and collect the right information before you climb up to inspect. ALKAN builds that site — we do not install roofs; you are the contractor.

01

What a roofing customer looks for on your site

  • Real photos of your jobs: before and after, different materials and pitches
  • Which services you offer: re-roof, repair, new construction, gutters, inspections
  • Areas you work: the cities and counties you actually serve
  • License and insurance visible — in roofing, trust is everything
  • Call button and estimate request always at hand on the phone

02

Scope questions that save the first call

A well-designed roofing estimate request asks what you always end up asking, so it arrives with real context:

  • Type of work: repair, full replacement or new construction
  • Current and desired material: composition, metal, torch down, tile…
  • Approximate home size and roof pitch if known
  • Photos of the roof and the problem, uploaded from the customer's phone
  • Urgency: active leak or planning ahead?

03

Coverage and urgency without promising immediate response

Distinguish repairs, replacements and jobs you do not accept across your real areas of King, Pierce, Snohomish or Kitsap. An active leak can be flagged for human review, but the form does not guarantee emergency service or a response time. Show verifiable records and credentials of the contractor, never of ALKAN as an installer.

Organize roofing requests — Define what information you need before deciding on the visit.

04

Your portfolio is your best salesperson

In roofing, before-and-after photos convince more than any text. We organize your portfolio by type of work and material so the customer sees you have already done exactly what they need. Your phone photos, well presented, are enough.

05

See the demo before you decide

CONTRACTOR PRO is a functional demonstration we built for roofing, remodeling and general contracting: it shows what a guided estimate request and project analysis look like. It is a demo, not a paying client — try it yourself.

Questions

Straight answers.

Should the customer climb on the roof to take photos?

Do not ask them to climb or measure a pitch to fill out a request. They can describe what they observe and share photos obtained without risk, if your agreed flow allows attachments. Roof conditions, measurements and the solution are verified by the contractor; a photo does not replace an inspection.

Does ALKAN install or repair roofs?

No. ALKAN builds websites and estimate request systems for contractors. The roofing work is yours; we help you get found and contacted properly.

Does the system calculate the roof price automatically?

No. It collects photos, scope and approximate measurements so you can review and prepare your estimate. The price and the decision are always yours.

I work in several counties — can I list them all?

Yes, as long as you truly serve them. We list the areas where you really work — not cities you never go to, because that convinces neither the customer nor Google.

Can I show my manufacturer certifications?

Yes. If you hold real certifications (for example from material manufacturers), we gladly show them because they build trust. We only publish credentials you can back up.
