Websites for drywall contractors: requests that arrive with clear scope
In drywall, two jobs that sound the same on the phone can be completely different: hanging new sheets is not the same as matching an existing texture on a repair. Your site must capture that difference from the first contact. ALKAN builds that site — the drywall work is yours.
01
What your estimate request should ask
We design the flow around how you actually estimate, so the request arrives with what you need before you visit:
- Type of work: new construction, remodel or repair
- Stage: hanging, finish or both
- Finish level and desired texture: smooth, knockdown, orange peel, match existing texture
- Approximate quantities: square feet, number of rooms or sheets
- Photos of the space or the damage, uploaded from the phone
02
Repairs: the daily bread, well filtered
Many drywall requests are small repairs: holes, water damage, cracks. A good flow collects them with photos and approximate size so you quickly decide which deserve a visit and which you can quote from the information received.
03
Show the quality of your finish
- Real photos of your finishes: the finish levels and textures you master
- New projects and remodels, organized by type
- Your real service area and response times
- License and insurance visible when applicable
04
A repair and a phased project are two different conversations
For repairs, ask for a description of the damage, available photos and approximate size without requiring the customer to diagnose the cause. For builders, clarify stage, available plans and who coordinates the project. Confirm first the real areas of King, Pierce, Snohomish or Kitsap you serve; the private address is requested only when needed.
Define questions per job type — Separate repair scope from phased projects without quoting automatically.
05
No guaranteed automatic estimates
The system organizes the information; it does not quote for you. Drywall prices depend on too many variables to promise an automatic number — you review each request and prepare your estimate with professional judgment.

Does ALKAN do drywall work?
No. We build the website and the request system for your drywall business. The work is yours.
Can the customer upload photos of the damage?
Photo uploads can be included in the flow we agree on for your business; they are not part of the ALKAN review form. We define which images you need, how they are received and who reviews them before use with real customers.
Is a photo of water damage enough to quote?
Not necessarily. The image helps describe the area, but it does not prove the water source is resolved or show every hidden condition. The contractor decides whether a visit or more information is needed; do not ask the customer for a technical diagnosis to complete the request.
Can I separate big jobs from small repairs?
Yes. The flow distinguishes the type and size of the job from the first questions, and you decide how to handle each category.
Does it work for builder subcontractors?
Yes. If your business works with builders or generals, the site can present that experience and collect requests for plan-based or phased projects.
